My son has started prep at St Peter’s this year and I could not speak more highly of the positive experience we have all had as a family. He is absolutely thriving under the care of his wonderful teacher and a dedicated principle. He loves going to school every day! All staff including the principle Ms Linda Tarraran are always approachable and present, greeting the children at the front gate before and after school, always free to have conversations with parents. The app they use online to communicate with parents also makes things very efficient. The school has a great sense of community spirit and encourage the parents to be a part of the children’s learning with lots of opportunity to come into the classroom on a weekly basis. My other younger children attend the toddler tales which is a play session run by the 6 students in the library every week so they are already familiar with the environment before starting school there and have an absolute ball. My son has really enjoyed the buddy system having older familiar children in the playground. He loves the very large footy field they use to play soccer at lunch time as well as the multiple court spaces available. The receptionists are also very happy and pleasant with every single interaction, as well as when caring for my son when he has gone to sick bay. His teacher has an absolute gift with keeping the children excited and happy to learn. I know I have made the best decision sending my son to St Peter’s primary school!
I feel like I’m being very generous by reviewing this establishment with one star. Please ask lots of questions about their bullying policies
if you are thinking about sending your children here, we didn’t and it has been the most damaging experience for my son.

The principal isn’t very approachable, nor does she advocate for children who are being harassed daily.

If your child is behind academically, they will wash their hands, and just try and convince you that there’s something wrong with your child.
From my experience, there are no devoted or passionate teachers who see the students individual strengths, just a one box fits all outdated way of teaching.

The school has no sense of community, its very cold and lacks joy overall.
Any public school in the area has more to offer facilities wise, aswell as school grounds.
They have designated little areas they must all play in depending on their grade, and it’s very run down and unappealing.

The talks of fixing the grounds with raised funds never eventuates.
I do not recommend you send your children here. They will not be seen as the wonderful
Individuals they are.

I went to this primary school many years ago and this morning I took my son there to have a hit on the tennis courts only to have the priest come and threaten to call the police unless we left. What a disgraceful attitude to take towards a 6 year old trying to do something enjoyable on a Sunday morning. How incredibly unchristian.
It’s a good primary school. The school is imparting Catholic values through the media of education. Attached to st. Peters church. Good facilities for the students. Good teachers too. Well managed. Clean and tidy. Good discipline.
I took a quick tour of their facilities, and I gotta say, the implementation of corporal punishment is working. The kids just sit there crying, Top notch education. Highly recommend
