Salcombe is a wonderful school, which is especially thriving under its new management. It has dedicated staff who truly care about the children. It is an academic school with a varied curriculum. The specialist teachers are both talented and enthusiastic and my child especially adores Music at Salcombe. The pastoral care is thorough and I am always able to contact my child’s teacher or leadership team via direct email. They also cater for a range of children with different abilities and SEN. My child is happy and excited for school each morning which in my eyes, is thee most important thing. I am very happy to have chosen this school for my daughter.
this school had terrible pastoral care, only cared about the student that were sporty or musically talented. pitted the students against each other. food was absolutely terrible. almost all students had a tutor, yet the school claimed it got students into the good grammar schools by themselves.
The staff in this school is very rude, all they care about is money. I am as a parent very dissapointed with this school. There are way better schools around the area!
Very poor pastoral care. The teachers don’t care at all. Head teachers change constantly. Would never send another child to this school.
i would not recommend this school to anyone i know at all.
