I went to the collage as I wanted my hair foiled. Most of it is 3 inch’s long. I explained I normally use a 50 developer on my hair. I put a dark red base color on with a 20, Then blond highlights with a 50 and its double processed. First they told me oh they can’t use a 50 but a 40 should work just fine. I just know my hair is NOT fried, and is only colored once every 3 months. Then they told me that 3 inches can’t be done with a foil. That it had to go through a cap. Now I have not gone to a shop to have it colored in a long long time. So I wanted to see if maybe they could do it.

I get there and they can see how dark and red my hair is… It’s kinda like a dark coper penny. They say there should be no reason this doesn’t work. So they send me in the back to the young lady who is going to do the color of my hair…..

I wish I knew then what I know now…..

It is really a shame the Teachers at this school don’t know what they are doing when it comes to coloring your hair. I know common sense is in short supply. However when you do a test patch on some ones hair. You are to do it under the top layer. So if it doesn’t take, you don’t leave that persons hair with a nasty patch.

The teacher stood there and let a student (which I don’t blame) put the color test patch on my top layer of hair. So that the test patch that turned Strawberry Blond could not be hidden. This was done on the back of my head. So I could not see what was being done.

The girl was sorry, and confused. When I said well at least it’s not were anyone will see it. At that point she starts trying to pull hair over it to hide it. Which didn’t work out well for her….or me…

I called back the next day to talk to the director of the 3 schools. She said she was sorry that was not how they were to have been taught to do a test patch… She begged me to let the principal redo my hair. She said that the principal of the school would be calling… That was on Wed. It is now Sat I have heard nothing…. Which goes to show you how much her apology means….

So they may be good for hair cuts… but don’t let them color your hair… It’s sad when their principal’s don’t know what they are talking about….

If you can’t do a job don’t take the job….simple..

I got a great hair cut by instructor Mandy and her student Gabby. They spent time on me and Mandy is a patient and skillful teacher. Gabby is a humble and hard working student. She pays attention to the details. I am very satisfied with the service. It’s a great experience.
Throughly was amazed with my experience today. Couldn’t have asked for better service or dedication I received. I will be returning!
