I have been training my whole career, my first class was in 1990 Santa Monica. Over the years I’ve continued that training, I moved to Phoenix in 2018 and wanted to restart my career and my own personal growth , as a hairdresser, the industry ahead taught for other companies before and just felt that I needed to continue my own personal growth and that’s when I found out that Sally Rogers was in my backyard, and then I begin to take classes at Sally Rogers and begin to get excited about hair and learning and the growth and the process of recreating yourself, then I had an opportunity to continue the teacher training , and I took her year long course, it’s the personal stories that you get to share with each other that’s in the room. And it’s also learning from those personal stories. And it’s also being able to tell your history and to articulate what you’re doing at the moment that you’re doing it on your mannequin and through the process you get to do that within the training with Sally Rogers and you have homework which only continues the process of being a better facilitator within your organization or however you plan on using your your academics, but the great thing about going through the process is you learn so much about yourself and how to present, how to position your body and how to work with other people and how to not make someone wrong but to also encourage and also create an opportunity for their growth and your personal growth as well. In other words, it’s a safe place to be your true authentic self and to be an amazing artist and to learn and grow be it teacher training or just be at a normal class that they offer for advanced education or education that they do the two to three days which are just as valuable as anything because it teaches The fundamentals of hair cutting and you get to share that information in that experience with others and you get to watch the light bulbs. Go off in the classroom and you get to screw in your own light bulb and see that as well. That’s what education should be about. Is that being vulnerable and learning? So I would highly recommend taking a class or going through the teachers training and unlock your own key to your own personal success. Thanks Sally Rogers for the opportunity and the feedback and the personal growth. I appreciate it.
Thank you,

I live in California and I like many hairdressers I was unemployed for the majority of 2020. However with the limited money I had I decided to take a financial risk , and relocate to AZ for the time being to attend the 10 week course at SR academy alongside the regular students. I had such a great experience the first time I took classes. Unfortunately my recent experience was not the same. The first 3 weeks were great and then it started to feel redundant. I sent an email expressing my concerns about the program. I was assured that I would learn more and I was reminded that I was working alongside the cosmo department. A couple of days later Sally informed me via email that due to an unsuspected family emergency she would not be able to get me the advance training. I was told my 2 options were to stop payment, or to come back later in the year and finish then. I agreed to stop payment because my time and finances dont allow me the privilege to come back later. Because of this I felt like I was entitled to some money back due to how much I had paid versus when I was leaving. I wrote an email back and got no response. I asked the instructor in charge about it and she said she didnt deal with finances. By the end of the week, I had heard nothing and my time was up. When I got home I sent several emails and got still no reply and still havent. I understand the course not being completed because of lifes emergencies. What is not acceptable is not getting any type of response about my money. If there was time to tell me I had to leave then there was time to answer me back about my money. I had a great experience the first time I went but the second time has left a really sour taste.
I loved taking my first SR Education 3years ago. Ive received two more classes since. Sally and her team tailor the program to each individuals level. I recommend having a one day seminar for a salon team. As a salon owner, I was able to see individual skill set and really appreciate the salon as a whole for doing something together. When we teach our assistants in house, well reference a few things from SR Education. Its been a valuable foundation to have and learn from SR Education.
