If I could give this school – zero stars, I would, the bulling at this school is disgusting. There is no support for the victim, its all for the bullies, the teachers are weak to control these behaviours.
I took my daughter out of this school once I got the police involved.
If your considering the well being of your daughter I suggest you take her to a different school which has you daughters best interests at heart, you should be a shammed at yourselves SANTA MARIA ,YOUR SUPPOST TO BE teaching the word of the lord !!!!!, There should have a zero bulling policy there, stop thinking about attendees and school fees to begin with. Shame ON YOU !!!
Sending your kids here for education is the worst possible choice you could’ve made. Let me explain.

From the outside, it looks very pleasing to the naked eye but within is a total mess. The main issue is the “influence” of the school and its attendees. Constant fighting and harrassment is just the start, there are other things that need to be discussed.

The “influence” is changing ways students act entirely. This ranges from wanting to apply makeup at a young age and buying a $80 water bottle, to having a complete transformed personality with LGBTQ stuff aswell as if they run the house. I don’t want my daughter to be this way, I’ve parented her to be responsible yet the influence and her friends keep changing that mind of her’s.

Overall, really bad school. NEVER WILL BE RECOMMEND, AND THANKS FOR STEALING $8K A YEAR FROM ME!

Don’t waste any time looking at this school. Bullying is rampant and teachers refuse to resolve issues. They treat disabled students like idiots or ignore them entirely. Their psychologists are a joke and refuse to actually give guidance or help in any meaningful way.

This school prides itself on being a close community and being “progressive” while communication to students, parents, and even their own staff is abysmal. Genuinely do not waste your time here, no one here will offer proper support to you.

Anyone already attending this school, hang in there.

MISS DEYLEN NEEDS A RAISE, SHE NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS SHE IS A QUEEN!!!!!!! also can all the maths teacher (accept miss DEYLEN, she’s doing everything right) try to accommodate a little more for the neurodivergent students?
Thanks
Santa Maria College. The self proclaimed ” Best school in Melbourne with progressive learning ” couldn’t be far from the truth. If you cant handle this review, keep scrolling. This is my experience. The teachers care more about your hair being tied up than your education, and give you detentions for wearing rings. They strip you from your personality and religion, forcing you to rid of anything other than uniform. As teenagers, it can be hard to obey these rules, and we should not be punished by it. The students are rude, and friendship groups revolve around rich pick-me girls, with no respect. Getting bullied was common for some students, including myself. The staff claim the do things against it, but the effort is low, and I think i speak for everyone when I say it happens too often, they don’t seem to care anymore. You get in trouble for the silliest things, and I don’t understand why. The uniform is blocky, ugly and hard to wear. It’s not wonder the student refuse to wear it. The school claims to be ” Caring ” and ” kind ‘ when thats all a lie. A student with a different religion was forced to go to church, which is just wrong. And despite them having posters everywhere about respecting pronouns, most of the teachers don’t use them for trans or non- binary people. The school is a gimic, and despite all this, they intend to teach the students that this is the best school ever, and almost trick them in a way.
