I had so much fun at the glass fusing class I attended! Our instructor was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun, she was helpful and encouraging to students who weren’t quite sure what to do with their project and offered all sorts of suggestions. Everyone in my class created beautiful and different artwork. We had plenty of supplies to create whatever we could imagine. The instructor provided great feedback and taught us about the fusing process from start to finish. I made a seascape and can’t wait to pick up my finished piece from the kiln. This was a phenomenal experience, it’s a great activity for a girls day, I can’t wait to go back!
We signed up for a beginners fusing class on Groupon and it was so much fun! You can select from multiple options of what to make. The class was small (in a good way), there was excellent instruction at the start, and from there the instructor will give you as much or as little help as you’d like. There are lots of examples around the shop for inspiration. You aren’t rushed (the class is around 2hrs), and they have all kinds of materials and tools for use. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and fun to get soaked in – it reminded us of pottery painting.
My wife and I attended the date night last week and had a great time each making our own projects with the assistance of a teacher. The instructor was awesome and gave us a tour of the facility before we started our projects giving us an understanding of the whole process a fuse glass. Highly recommend taking a class. for date night they even had some snacks out for us 🙂 we can’t wait to see how our projects turned out after the firing process. Really fun!
