I just started at this school like 4 days ago and I came from Garcia I would say Garcia is wayy better when I came here I didn’t feel as comfortable as I did at Garcia it felt werid and no not because I moved to a different school it was just something off about it and the school is boring I would say Garcia has way more activities and when your child goes to Garcia they feel more comfortable at all times Garcia doesn’t have bullying but this school does and I have saw it while being there for 4 days I’m currently in 7th grade right now going into 8th and I have to stay here hopefully I can move back to Garcia because this place is uncomfortable and fake I would say I’ve only been here for 4 days and I’m already ready to get 8th grade done those 9 months and I gone because this school is horrible and oh don’t let me talk about the food the food is horrible I don’t even bother buying there food when they serve it to u it’s cold but at Garcia it’s hot and they have different meals everyday I would say the only difference about this school from Garcia is that this school I guess is “cleaner “ that’s abour it no difference
I was originally excited due to the academic reviews that the school has …… However, that’s all this school has . While the teachers and staff are wonderful… something is really off about the children at this school. There is zero substance and individuality . It’s just plain weird ! The person we purchased our home from came to the mailbox to get mail that was delivered. When i inquired about the school she mentioned the children being unusual ….I now understand. It gives elementary school vibes. My kid is beyond miserable and bored . I’m so glad that he retained his old friends from his previous school. If you came from a school where the kids are used to having fun , skate nights , going to the mall , ect . This is not it ! These children are in the house online bullying and harassing each other. We will be moving to a different area for high school most certainly. I want my children to have a great and exciting high school experience and make lasting friends. It’s not for the creative minds. Neighbors are also moving for the same reason
The bullying there is quite evident, as I managed a retail locaion with a storefront in the adjacent Randall’s shopping center for over a year.
Many, many, times, the police were called due to students fighting in the parking lot, and right in front of the stores themselves.
When school lets out, about half of the students make their way to the Randall’s shopping center, where their parents wait to pick them up, because they don’t feel like waiting in line along Homeward Way. The parents will usually sit and wait in the handicapped parking spots, for their children.
The children often cause many other disturbances at almost every business in the shopping center, besides just fighting in front of them.
