Rarely do I leave public reviews– let alone a review for a school. I had the honor of actually working at Schelastic. I am here to tell you that whether behind closed doors or in the open, Dr. Galindo, her family, and associates are integral, caring people who care about the education and lives of the students and their families. Out of my 17 years in education, this was thus far one of the best experiences I have ever had working at a school. It is truly a safe, relaxing place for students. It is a place of rest and believing the best in every child. I still care about the students and their families. I would entrust my own family members to their care. With so many changes right now in education, this a great place to send your child. They have been on the cutting-edge of virtual/flexible learning for quite sometime–way before 2020. While everyone else is still “figuring” it out and “winging” it right now,Schelastic Academy is running with it! They have several learning options whether on campus, at home or in between. This is not a paid review. This comes from my heart.

Schelastic Academy has been nothing but an AMAZING blessing to my family. My son is on the Autism Spectrum and previously before coming to school this year, he was miserable! He hated going to school and I had to force him. He is doing better now with little to no modification than he did with all the help and modifications he had previously. He is making wonderful grades. He loves the students and staff…he likes Mrs. Galindo!
No, he never wants to miss school. Even when I give him the option to do his work online at home for a day he tells me NO… He wants to go to school and that he must be there. He always used to tell me “mom I can learn just in a different way ” well, he has finally found his way. It has been nothing but a blessing to have him be able to go to this school and we are thankful beyond words.

While James attended Schelastic I didn’t have to worry about him during school hours… I knew he was in a positive, faith-filled and focused environment.

Many great experiences here! My most memorable experience was when Schelastic gave me the opportunity to record a special message to my son for his graduation ?? ceremony. ??

There’s not one school that is perfect, but Schelastic is a great educational environment for students and their families. I definitely recommend Schelastic Academy!
