Our family decided to send our son to Epiphany because of the high level of academics. The talented teachers embrace my son as an individual and try to tailor his learning so that he is challenged. They are patient, determined, and committed. The teachers foster his growth and recognize his needs and potential. They instill a love of learning in my son. They also help to build his self-confidence so that he feels ready to take on any challenges that come his way. Because of this, my son is not afraid to try anything newhe jumps right in!
Another reason our family decided to send our son to Epiphany is because it is a K-8 school. There is a strong sense of community. The school environment is equitable and inclusive. Being a K-8 school, the teachers and students are able to build strong relationships throughout the years. Because of various school activities, my son has friends across all the grades. He looks up to the older students, yet at the same time he is able to be a role model to the younger ones as well. Everyone knows each other and takes care of one another. I love it when we are out and about in the neighborhood and we run into fellow students and their families, teachers, and staff (like the librarian, who always seems to know what book series my son is reading and will reserve the newest book once it is released!).
My son is building a strong foundation that will help him to grow into an educated, responsible young man. I think that he will be well-prepared for high school and beyond. I am confident in our decision to send him to Epiphany, and this decision is confirmed time and time again when he comes home and talks excitedly about something he learned/read/did in school. He has good friends and is building strong, life-long relationships. I am very happy (and lucky) to be able to provide our son with the opportunity to learn and grow at School of the Epiphany. He makes great progress each yeargrowing academically, socially, and spiritually.
