Terrible customer relations. Called ahead letting them know the situation that I had already gotten xrays done and knew she needed surgery, they told me to come in because it would be considered an emergency drive 3 hours for them to tell me it would be 3 days before they could do surgery on my dog, they told me because it had already be stabilized its not an emergency did they think the place that did the xrays wouldn’t splint it? The student was very pleasant helpful and compassionate about the situation while the vet did not seem to care that I was told different things and honestly wasn’t listening to what I had to say. So if you do decide to come up here record your conversations before hand so they can’t change it when you get there. We will not be back!
Drove a lot of miles at the recommendation of our long term family vet to get our bulldog a CT of her gallbladder after several ultrasound investigations. We were refused by the A&M Doctor in giving her a CT scan and they proceed with another ultrasound which resulted in no new information. We put our 11 year old baby girl to a many hour drive and her poor adverse experiences with sedation for for no new information…so very, very disappointing. Additionally our resident Dr must have been all of her late 20s, where is the experience when needed. I always thought, go to A&M when you really need help…not the case, not going back!
