I see nothing but immeasurable promise & great potential for Sci-Tech Academy! We recently enrolled our oldest daughter from Sheridan Hills Elementary. She enjoys the enhanced personalization of STEM education with her teachers in ways appreciative to early ESL language learners. Sci-Tech employs a project-based-approach to STEM learning made accessible to students of all cultural backgrounds.

This method cultivates a spirit of creativity in the malleable minds of children eager to learn where they can demonstrate what they have learned through inventive demonstrability.

Here is my question: considering the culture of student empowerment at Sci-Tech, what is the possibility of transforming the academy into America’s first Somali Language Immersion School with a centralizing focus on STEM education?

Is it possible to establish a culture of academic synchronicity between two seemingly different academic pathways? There should also be a “Friends of Sci-Tech Academy Foundation.” Ideally, it would function as a suborbital organization dedicated to raising funding & awareness of Sci-Tech’s unique mission for purposes of further expansion.

The former Rainbow Foods next door is simply asking to be acquired by Sci-Tech; this would make it feasible for Sci-Tech to grow into an academy offering STEM instruction from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.

If that materializes, Sci-Tech can potentially partner with the University of Minnesota to launch a joint program dedicated to studying diasporic socio-cultural & socio-educational assimilation focusing on k-12 students in America with emphasis placed on the Somali Diaspora.

In addition, I also urge administrators at Sci-Tech to consider partnering with local academic tutoring companies like Mathnasium for supplemental learning outside the classroom offered at an additional albeit subsidized cost affordable to parents.

Needless to say, the expansive opportunities for future growth & development at Sci-Tech are definitively endless!

Our family is delighted to be new members of Sci-Tech!

The best school and the school staff are very friendly and cooperative and the teaching skills is highly recommended.
