This is a Great School! My grandson goes here. The teachers are great! They will meet with you at anytime for a parent teacher conference. He had Ms. Courtney for 2nd, Ms. Wes-Graves for 3rd and now has Ms. Manuel and Mr. Lee for 4th .Mr. Rodriquez, the principal has a hard of gold for the students. He’s from the Bronx and had an immigrant parent. He experience challenges himself in school. My grandson started out in remedial classes for the last two years (third and fourth) he’s in regular classes and doing well. He went to a school in Miami Lakes prior to attending here. The Miami Lakes school unfortunately focused on one demographics. My grandson started out in the headstart program when he was three. He has come a long way since the headstart program. Seacastle is making a big difference for him. He is passing every grade and his dream is to go to college and become an engineer. My daughter and I stay very involved with his school work. I have gone to a couple of parent teacher conferences with her. The teachers are very flexible with setting up a conference. We go to Open House, Stem Night and etc. This is an A rated school don’t pass it up.

I usually don’t leave comments.But today it’s a must.2 years ago but son was struggling academically at a prior school that I won’t mention.My son came to me and said mommy I just hate school and my teacher hates when I raise my hand.At such a young age I was determined to find out what could be done.I switch schools.He started Sea Castle and I kid you not the first week there was a tremendous change.My son says mommy they just don’t give up on you at this school.I said well it’s the first week to myself.A month goes by and my son says,mom I know you always help with homework but I got it.After the challenges he had I was afraid.My son grades shot up.Learning became fun again.He passes the 4th grade.5th grade comes along and I ask myself who is this child?The teachers are angels.When I say parents from home.Hard on him and it brought the best out from him.He became so independent and not to mention I went over homework but because it needed to be done.Transitioning was one of the best decisions I made as a mother.I am so blessed and grateful my son is a 5th grade graduate today.

I usually don’t leave reviews about schools, this my first time ever doing this, but i have to be honest. This school is Terrible! I can not wait for the upcoming school year to change my daughter school. I won’t Ever send my child back to this school and I will not recommend anyone to send their child to this school. Most of the staff are not understanding or concerned about how the students are being treated by the teachers . If any of the staff or teachers are in the wrong they will not own up to their mistakes, they make exscues about everything . Have terrible attitude , don’t want to listen and they try to talk over you . I only sent my child to this school bc it was closer to my house . I’m happy this school year is almost over bc I’m very disappointed in the staff and some of the teachers but of course they don’t care . Some of them seem like they are there just for a paycheck some of them don’t seem to really be there to help the students out stay away far away from this school oh yeah and they don’t like to communicate !!!!
