What was supposed to be a girls day turned into two very dissatisfied customers. For Valentine’s Day; it was my idea to have myself, my sister, and my mother to go get our hair done. Both my mom and sister wanted a highlight and a trim, and I was just along for the ride. First and foremost I would like to say our beautician, Name Courtney, did an excellent job on my sisters hair. The reason I’m leaving my rating is because the overall service was very poor. My mother was denied service upon arrival (10:30am) because the process would take too long and they had to “be out by 2pm” and “didn’t have enough hands” to do both. My mother being the women she is let my sister get hers done today since she had to pay a babysitter for our trip. While waiting we witnessed customers coming in and out. Once business slowed down, my mother asked If she could get a pedicure instead and was told by instructor, name Shirley, they didn’t have the tools necessary (12:30pm). We continued to sit and wait. At 1:10, being the only customer left, Courtney was about to start trimming my sister hair and Shirley (instructor) walked up to the booth and denied Courtney of finishing my sisters hair and instructed her to only blowdry it. We walked out of the college at 1:30pm as very unhappy customers. Will not come back again.

I understand that SearcyBeauty college is a very good school. I little sister completed the course and has her cosmetology license. She said that she enjoyed it and it was a good education. The property is nice looking and the staff is nice when you go in to get a haircut. I don’t have hair just make up LOL but I have taken my kids there. Give it a try, but keep in mind the students cut your hair!!!

They took me from box red to blonde! The process took a while but they did it and saved my hair! It was even turned blue by another salon and they managed to fix the blue and get me to platinum! They’re so helpful 10/10 recommend! All the girls in there are so sweet!
