I love this school. If this school did not exist my daughter would lost in the school system. Seaside cared about my feelings and my thoughts about my daughter. Seaside teachers helped my daughter become the student she is today. When she started the first grade there she did not know any of her sight words. She struggled so hard but Seaside was so compassionate and understanding. They spoke to me and recommended that she repeat the first grade but it was my choice. I did let her repeat the first grade and she did so much better but she was still behind. Seaside told me it was going to be alright, she will catch up. Second grade she was reading on a kindergarten level, to me that was an awesome because when she entered second she wasn’t reading at all. Seaside teachers and staff were so patient with her and worked with her and all the long communicating with me the whole time. Now it’s the end of third grade and my daughter is reading at beginners third grade level. I want to thank Seaside teachers and staff for helping my daughter become the student she is today. Seaside teachers and staff cared so much about my daughter and they wanted her to succeed. I just had to share my story. I love Seaside Community Charter School. I would recommend them to any parent that has a child that is struggling. I would even recommend them to parent that has a great student but just want a different kind of learning experience for their child. Seaside Community Charter School I give you 5 ??????????.

I cannot express my appreciation enough for this school, the teachers, staff and highly involved parents. My daughter suffered in kindergarten at Seabreeze Elementary. So my only option was to home school for two years. A friend told me about Seaside. My daughter has grown and changed so much since attending Seaside. She loves learning and it is a challenge every night to get her to stop reading. She has grown so much emotionally and academically in one year. My son suffered the same in kindergarten. He cannot get the attention he needs in regular public school. So even though he is brilliant, he was neglected and made to feel as if he is stupid. I am sure he will flourish in the new school environment where the moto is “everyone belongs”.

We have been a Seaside family since the school’s inception, and we have been very pleased with our daughter’s progress there. When we enrolled her for kindergarten, it was a temporary measure, and we were planning to build a house in St. Johns county, primarily for the schools. During the first year there, we determined that this Waldorf inspired charter school was absolutely the best school option for our family. We sold our property in St John’s county and haven’t looked back- best decision ever!
