My friend goes to a school in a low income neighborhood and you would have thought their kids were graduating from Harvard with the effort made for their graduation,
With all the money we have given to the school over the years. I was deeply offended with the graduation. With over $60,000 in the PTA Surely $1000 could have been spent in the kids.
SWE is a good school. I went there K-3rd (2008-2011) grade. Overall, staff is great. My teachers were all really good and I learned the basics that set me up for the rest of my primary education. The school incorporated computers into each week of school and I remember we had 1 day a week in the computer lab, which- for the time, ran modern programs and OS. Which upon coming to Arizona, I learned computers were not apart of the education and last year we had to take a typing unit because most couldn’t do more than 20 words a minute.
I hope SWE hope is still kept at it’s golden standard I remember it being.
They made a time capsule when I was in the 1st grade!
Thank you Mrs. Crowley and Borque!
