Brilliant school and brilliant staff. I have two children who attend SES and thoroughly enjoy it.
As a parent, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding experience my children have had at Sharjah English School.
The nurturing environment at SES has fostered our children’s academic growth and personal development. The teachers ensure that each student receives individualized attention and support.
There is also a wide range of extracurricular activities offered at SES, which allows children to explore their interests and talents beyond the curriculum.
We can confidently say that SES has exceeded our expectations in every way, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a high-quality education for their children.
Thank you to the entire SES community for creating such a positive and enriching learning environment!
My daughter enjoys the school. I can see her growing as an individual with a lovely attitude. This school builds character and is not just about book knowledge. They offer a wide range of extracurricular activities. Fees are high, on par with or more than some private schools in the UK. The teachers are well-educated and care for the students.
As a former student, I don’t recommend this school. Certain teachers treated me like a statistic rather than an individual. I was assaulted by a teacher on a field trip who claimed it was “because I was wearing a short skirt,” even though it adhered to the dress code. The teachers did nothing to help me when I fell behind and didn’t recognize that I had symptoms of ADHD during the four years I attended. If you want your child to be neglected and possibly bullied, send them here.
We applied to this school for our children, but I had the worst possible experience during the admission process. The person conducting the process spoke over my wife very condescendingly, not taking the time to understand what we were saying to her and then accusing her of not listening. Then she said my son, who is painfully shy, did not understand English, though that is in fact the only language he knows! She would not believe this, and in the reception area, in front of all the people, despite telling her he is shy, she tried to suss out if he “understood” English. This left my child traumatized and upset. It was there and then that we realized the school was not for us. The school has a high rating, and that was the only reason we applied, but seeing how appalling our first encounter was, I don’t think my children would have been happy in that environment. Some humility would not go amiss.
My kids have been going to SES since the beginning. They have loved their time there. The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is second to none, and each child is treated with care.
One of the best British curriculum schools in Sharjah, with the largest campus and teachers who work hard to nurture children from Foundation Stage to young adulthood. I have two girls going to this school, one in primary and one in secondary! Their Foundation school is the first Curiosity Approach accredited school, and the A and O Level results are among the top schools in the UAE. Highly recommended!
