Honestly, I agree with the other people. We’re like this jail that no one cares about. Many things have happened at this school, and they didn’t care. They scam you with the grades and sometimes lie to the adults. When I would break a bone, they would say, “Stop overreacting, it’s just a bruise,” but then when I went to the hospital, I found out it was broken. The kids there would bully you, and they wouldn’t care. You feel like they’re standing there just laughing at you.
The school administration adopts a very negative attitude toward any problems or challenges facing the students. The school is a breeding ground for bullying, and the administration does not take any disciplinary action toward bullies, which encourages them to continue. I do not recommend the school to anyone. Your kids will suffer there; they will be bullied daily with the absence of any system that stands by them and protects them.
The school could be better. Some teachers lack interest in their subjects, affecting student learning. Last year’s enthusiastic history teacher inspired students and excellent grades. This year’s history teacher prioritizes behavior and grades, demotivating students. The strict “modesty” rule suggests a focus on outward appearances. Despite expectations, this is not a good school. Students behave poorly, bullying persists, and academic rigor is lacking compared to other schools. Notably, boys at the boys’ school receive preferential treatment over girls at the girls’ school. Students here tend to bully anyone perceived as “different,” stifling individuality. For your child’s academic and personal growth, consider alternative schools.
The building infrastructure in Abu Dhabi is top-notch, but it’s run by the worst school administration and staff. Their sole objective seems to be delivering information to students, with no willingness to address problems, challenges, or nurture student development. They exhibit zero tolerance for student struggles, preferring “god-gifted” students who never encounter difficulties, voice dissent, or complain. The teaching quality is subpar, failing to cultivate critical thinking or enhance learning capabilities. It’s merely rote information delivery. The exorbitant tuition fees are utterly unjustified. My daughter previously attended another high-tuition school that, while overly attentive, lacked problem-solving skills. This school is the polar opposite, readily expelling students without parental consultation or attempts to understand the issue. I transferred my daughter to a school with 70% lower tuition, which has proven vastly superior in every aspect. It’s become evident that expensive schools prioritize lavish facilities over quality education.
It’s my first year at this school, and I’m already hating it! The teachers are so disrespectful, and I can hear teachers yelling at students from down the hall daily. I have to go through a whole process of entering a teacher’s code to request permission to use the restroom, and there’s a timer. If we don’t stop the timer on time, we get an instant negative point, which doesn’t make sense. Once, I arrived a minute before the gates closed, and the principal literally closed the door in my face and told me to get a demerit.
It is not a good school if you hate your life.
This school is so bad that they made us pay 10 AED for school events.
