been at this school since 2011 and I had the best experience ever up until year 11. After that the two librarians Miss spurrell and Miss Mason, made my life a living hell. All I want to do is get the best A level grades I possibly can and I get to University in September. But the librarians not only bullied me but would verbally abuse me 24/7 for minding my own business or would constantly scream at my peers which therefore disrupted my learning. I literally can’t take them anymore so I spend the majority of my revision at home where it’s not the best learning environment due to my two frantic little sisters. Apart from that I had the best support system and teachers ever. I highly recommend this school academically but the librarians are awful, horrible, discriminative and just annoying.
My son joined Shenley Brook End School from Giles Brook School in 2010. During this time I have observed his confidence, identity and academic success continue to develop in an extremely positive way. At every step of the way the head teacher and all the staff really have got to know him. He will shortly be taking his GCSE’s and plans to stay on to the 6th form. There were one or two settling in problems for him in Year 7 however the school were extremely approachable and used immediate and measured tactics to help my son overcome his worries. I would thoroughly recommend Shenley as a excellent school where the staff are approachable in every year, where the head teacher Mr Martin is a rock of calmness and stability.
The only reason shenley brook end has high ratings is beacause of the good gsce scores! NOTHING else is good about it. The teachers for starters are downright ridiciouous. If your being tormented or bullied? The teachers always say the same damn thing ‘ its not bullying’ when they poerfecly know it is!!!! Oh and all those police rumours? ITS TRUE. pple fight steal do anything you name it! And this results in police coming like 5 times a month. this school and environment is almost worse than mk academy!! The best schools for your kid would be school such as:ousdale, oakgrove, Walton high. but shenley is NOT THE PLACE YOU WANNA GO. thank the lord I’m moving!
I think that this school is the best school in MK and i would highly recomend this school
If I don’t pass my 11+ there’s a great possibility that I will go here and I’m happy
