Both of our children attended Shepherd of the Hills School from K through 8th. This school is an absolute treasure for children and families. Small class sizes allow for an intimate educational experience. It is superbly easy for parents to be in contact with teachers and other parents on a daily basis. Our children flourished at this school as all aspects of education were covered, including opportunities in music, plays, sports, speaking etc. We would often find it difficult to get our children to want to come home at the end of the day because they enjoyed their daily experience at Shepherd of the Hills. I KNOW the education they received was excellent when my daughter aced (got every single problem correct) on the national standards test.
I give this school my highest recommendation.
Due to the recent pandemic we removed our child from our public school and enrolled her into Shepherd of the Hills. We have had a wonderful experience. Class sizes are small, the environment is warm and the teachers are working hard for the kids. We are pleased with how things have gone over the course of this year. We have been so happy that we plan on enrolling our child again next year for the 2021/2022 school year and will have a second child start Kinder. We would highly recommend this wonderful school to anyone looking for a change.
We discovered SOTH while the pandemic had public schools shut down and it has been the biggest blessing for our daughter. We love the family feel this school environment brings, the small class size, the curriculum taught, and the teachers. This school offers so much more than a typical school day with additional recesses, music, and of course the Bible lessons. I know my daughter is not only receiving the education lessons but also foundation and values that she will carry through out life. So grateful we are at Shepherd of the Hills!
