Shine on Stage has been an excellent term time and summer school activity for my daughter from Year 3 right through to Year 13. It had been an amazingly loving and caring family of learning with excellent tuition and superb encouragement. I hope to see the school continue in another form and over the summer.
My older daughter has been going to Shine for 2 years, including 2 summer schools, and it’s been amazing for her confidence. She loves going every Saturday and the teachers have been brilliant during lockdown, starting almost immediately with zoom sessions. My younger daughter has joined in with the online sessions too and loved the summer school she attended last year. Can’t rate the teachers highly enough!
I can honestly say that Alice and the team at Shine on Stage gave me my wonderful daughter back. After she had a tough year my daughter was not the little girl we knew and was quiet and moody, not normal for a 7year old! But after just one week with the Shine team at the summer school she was shining like the brightest star again. I did know the power of the theatre but didn’t think it could work so quickly, that is all down to Alice and the team for being so welcoming. The West End tutors that come on board to help are phenomenal and teach the children so much in such a short space of time. I would recommend Shine on Stage to anyone that has any concerns about there child and confidence issues. The knock on effects of our daughter changing has been astounding it has effected the whole family and we will never be able to say thank you enough. It sounds over the top but it is true.
All three of my daughters have loved taking part in Shine’s Summer Schools. There is so much passion and energy from the teachers and the children get swept up in it. So amazing what they can achieve in a week, we have seen some fabulous shows.
A wonderful establishment! My 2 daughters absolutely love Shine and so do we as parents. Alice and her team are the most encouraging, warm and energetic team you could ever meet and they have every child’s best interests at heart; whether it be the natural stand out superstar or the shy and timid type. They bring out the the very best in everyone and encourage each and every pupil to shine in what ever way works for them. I have nothing but the highest of praise for Shine!
