Great teaching but lacks facilities and you feel very boxed in and crowded. If you are caught not wearing your lanyard they have a hissy fit and if you are using the common room to socialise with friends a specific teacher comes in and gets angry at you and tells you to go and do work. The sixth form have also blocked everything apart from google, firefly and educational websites because they think other things are harmful to us even know we know more about social media and the internet than the adults here and we use VPN’s to access social media on our phones but they are still for some reason so determined to stop this so they block our VPN’s, i just don’t understand the point in giving us wi-fi if we can’t access anything. One of the sixth form teachers seams to think we are stupid as-well because when people have questioned him about VPN’s he gets all defensive and starts saying he doesn’t know what we are talking about. A lot of us use VPNs so the school can’t see exactly what we are doing as we feel it’s an invasion of privacy. Overall i wouldn’t recommend this college unless you have failed all your gcses and need to resit them.

The pressure is suffocating, the support there is the bare minimum.
They prioritise the secondary school 🙂
