in March 2022, I reached out to the office of the school to get my daughter registered for the fall. They told me I would need to schedule a tour to come in, fill out forms and see the school. my husband and I both took off of work and brought our whole family to come to tour the school. My daughter sat in the classroom with the other kids singing five little ducks and was so excited to be there. I knew this was going to be a great fit for her and we have been looking forward to this day. I asked during the tour what we needed to do to continue this process. They had us fill out a little form while we sat near the office. As we were walking out of the tour, the woman we spoke to told us that our daughter had been approved to go to school and we would receive forms in the mail regarding information on how to pay and schedule with pick up and drop off information. My husband and I waited most of the summer thinking that the forms would come closer to the beginning of the school year. I called a few days ago to inquire about her status and the forms, and the lady I spoke with informed me that they had absolutely no record of her even touring the school. I know I filled out forms with my daughters name, her birthday, my address and our family members names. If they don’t have that form, I want to know where that information has been lost. The lady on the phone put words in my mouth every chance that she got. there was no apologies for the situation and now I have to figure out how in the next two weeks I am going to find someone to watch my daughter, who was supposed to start preschool this year, Monday through Friday for three hours a day. As a member of this church, i will be resigning immediately. I cannot fathom the idea of being apart of something that can treat their members, families and children that way. I really don’t appreciate Shrine Grade School and the stress they’ve caused my family, that they aren’t even remorseful for.
Love their Eucharistic Adoration Chapel! St. Therese please intercede for all who visit, that they would speak heart to heart with Jesus as you do… “May the heart of Jesus, in the most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time”
