Montessori school was new to us as we embarked on our 4th daughter starting Pre-K. My friend suggested we take a look at SWM and explained how Montessori school works.
Well, 3 years in we couldn’t be happier that we made the decision.
Montessori teaches fundamentals in learning at your child’s pace with hands on activities gaining skills and experience they will use as they grow and develop through these important developmental years. Encouragement and opportunity is a steady offering at Small World Montessori. This type of learning environment has helped with our daughter’s frustration when able to complete something. She is consistently encouraged to try again, take a break or go back to it once her mindset has changed. Ruby loves going to school because she is treated with respect, kindness, warmth and positivity on a daily basis. She knows what to expect and what is expected of her when she goes to school. Small World Montessori is a safe, welcoming environment with a broad learning platform for all children.

We have been with SWM for over 5 years now and still have one more year to go before our youngest leaves to elementary school. We are going to stay at SWM because it feels like a second home to my kids. We trust the teachers that they do their best taking care of the kids and teaching them to be independent. My kids learned a lot going to SWM. Things they wouldn’t have learned at elementary school until maybe later on!

had a very unpleasant experience with the staff, I was trying to find out more information about the school and its enrollment requirement and faced a very cold treatment: not all of my questions were answered, the staff was not willing to cooperate, and basically sent me out to a different school. I found it rude and unprofessional.
