Year 12 was an enjoyable experience, with teachers showing support and care constantly. However, the transition into year 13 wasn’t as smooth as we had various issues with teachers which resulted in our teachers being swapped numerous times. Coming up to the end of year 13, it is clear to see that the college has a lack of care for our studies, with us as students being handed various assignments to complete in the space of a week, with one being due to the college’s fault of teacher-related issues. From this, we have been given a 24-hour deadline to complete an assignment resubmission. The support from the college heading into the final month of college is very minimal and it is clear that they no longer care for our studies through the lack of support. Would not recommend studying a Level 3 Btech in business here.
I completed A-Levels in Biology, English Lit and Photography at the sixth form. All of my classes were enjoyable and the teachers were very supportive. I’ve gone on to do a degree in photography and the Creative Arts dept here have contributed significantly to my development in the practice. I would recommend the Sixth Form to anyone, my courses and the ones my friends took were enjoyable and ended with high grades.
Great experience. I studied A levels in Media, English Language and Photography.

In the creative arts department, I studied photography despite not doing any art based subjects as a GCSE. Got a lot of help from all the teachers, especially from Zoe who would go above and beyond to support me. Most weeks she would sit with me and go through the work that I was behind on or struggling with.
The teachers were all friendly and easy to get on with.

The live briefs, facilities and skills learnt massively prepared me for university as using a camera, creative thinking and processes is the standard for students. Would definitely recommend.

I attended the college a couple years back, studying Btec Art and Design and had a great experience. All of the teachers were so encouraging, particularly my main teacher, Pam, who was so lovely throughout the entirety of my time there.

The course gave me some great opportunities to explore new creative routes and the on-site fascilities meant I could proffessionally create my own work whilst at the college. The print room and sewing machines, as well as the access to Adobe Creative Suite were my particular favourites of the course and helped me develop skills I can apply now to my own businesses. The inclusion of live briefs were also really beneficial to me and helped prepare me for working with clients upon leaving the college.

Being given the creative freedom to explore my passions really helped me to develop as a designer, putting me in a great position for starting university. Honestly, without Pam I would not be where I am today, her kindness really motivated me to work my be

Very mixed college. Some staff as expected are very good including the assistant head and the music department. However the college is filtered with gangs and violence. Expect not to make many friends here and have lessons disturbed by large number of unruly students who do not complete work and home studies. Overall teaching is good for the majority but student behaviour and passion is very poor
