I was a student of this school, and I’ve been here for 2 years, and my experience was the BEST! This is one of the best schools I’ve ever seen! Mrs. Stuart is the BEST principal I’ve ever met! She is the NICEST! The lunches may not be the best, but that’s okay! The teachers are the nicest! My favorite teachers are, Ms. Romero, Ms. Hudson, Ms. Behren, Ms. Sewell, & Ms. Martinez! I’ve always got straight A’s on all my quarters, because the teachers are THE BEST at teaching!! And the school is literally the FUNNEST!!! 1. Holiday show: every December, each class prepares a dance to perform on a special day! It’s soo fun, and you get to spend lots of time with your family, friends, and teachers!! 2. FSA Pep rally! IT’S THE BEST PART OF THE SCHOOL!!!! There are SOO MUCH YUMMY food and drinks!!! And the dance team group (which I’m going to talk about soon??)will perform a beautiful dance! You get to watch lots of movies, and they do SO MANY THINGS so you’re not stressed out during the FSA! 3. Dance Team!! This is for ya’ll dancers out there!! Even though I didn’t make it to the team ??????????I had SOO much fun! And it even improved me in dancing! Ppl say that I danced really good, and the only reason I didn’t make the team, was bc I danced too fast. So if you think that you’re a beautiful dancer (cuz you are????), just make sure to not dance too fast! Or else you’ll not make it to the team! 🙁 BUT, you can only sign up for the dance team once you reach to 3rd grade – 5th Grade! ?????? BUT THIS SCHOOL IS ONE OF THE BEST SCHOOLS EVER! I really reccommend you guys to come here!!! ??????????
I gave 3 stars because Mrs. Romero is AMAZING! I did not like the school as a whole. They have no award ceremonies for each quarter. The kindergarten graduation had no caps and gowns. The rules were outrageous and gender identified everything. Girls can do this and boys can’t do that. Like NO! Make everything EQUAL! They claim that it comes from the Broward School Board, but I know a lot of people who have kids in Broward Schools (charter, public, and private) and they never heard of such rules. I changed my daughter’s school because of their unfairness. Had to spend $200 on uniforms at the beginning of the year. They started to get tight about 2 months before school ended and my daughter had to wear them because I couldn’t afford new uniforms. I do NOT recommend this school….especially if you are LGBTQ activist!
This is the best school ever! I have been here for 6 or 5 years, there were ups and downs and stuff, but it’s been pretty good. There were a lot of events and holidays, I love it. The lunch food isn’t amazing, but it’s pretty good. I made a lot of friends over all the years, and now I’m heading to 6th grade in Somerset Central. My favorite teachers were Ms. Romero, Ms. Behren, Ms. Martinez, Ms. Scott, Ms. Diamond, and Ms. Phipps! They were very helpful. 🙂 Ms.Scott helped me get a 5 on the FSA by helping me what I did wrong, I love it! 😀 —Francesca Louis
