Both of my boys came from private school from preschool till Pre-K 4. I had such a hard time looking for schools after taking the boys out of an amazing private school with such high standards and committed principle. I was scared and emotional as their previous private school experience was amazing and as a parent it was very family oriented.
After visitijg so many schools for elementary for my boys…I found Somerset Academy Prep. The principle at this school is an amazing person. Very involved with the teachers and parents. Very loving and most of all very Professional! She has great communication skills so you can imagine how incredible her staff is with her lead. The staff, front desk and teachers are very enthusiastic about education. My boys love their school. And one day I asked them if they would ever like to go back to their favorite private school and they said that their new favorite school is Somerset and they would choose this school. One of the fun things about this school are the activities and constant fun educational themed programs. Their fitness PE coaches are fun and the boys love going to PE. Their lunches are great and healthy.

Parents are also very involved. For the mom or dad out there who has their kids in private school or having a hard time paying for private school. I feel your pain as I know private schools are strong foundations for our children and most private school can be expensive. It’s all worth it. But I do want to tell those parents who are also looking for a great public school or charter school. You definitely Shoult consider applying to this school. You won’t regret it. They are extremely organized and i was so impressed when this Covid Pandemic started in 2020. They were superstars and hero’s.

SoPrep is an extraordinary school. The principal Mrs.Nunez is a thoughtful, well-prepared, student-centric administrator. Her good leadership is evident by the staff and teachers that encompass SoPrep. The educators at this small school are smart and exceptional. They all seem to truly be living their calling to educate our children. The awesome staff is friendly and helpful. The overall community at this school is close-knit and kind. Parents are encouraged to participate, and the PTO further fosters the welcoming culture here. Our school is a hidden treasure dedicated to the excellent education of the whole child.
