PERFECT MONTESSORI SCHOOL IN SOUTH BAY, LOS ANGELES! With so many options for schooling/daycare, we are really glad we choose the South Bay Montessori!

Our daughter has been attending this school since she was 19 months, she’s now 3 years and 4 months old. It has been a pleasure writing those tuition checks each month because our baby girl has really soared here!
The staff of woman really deeply care for the children and the job that they do. For drop off’s and picks up the staff is always so welcoming and helpful. We have had not ONE single ISSUE with anyone or anything while attending here. We have never had a compliant, not once!

The school hours and set up are perfect. We could send our daughter to school early mornings with breakfast and she would get help eating it.

The curriculum is fantastic, our daughter comes home singing songs and doing things she’s learned at school; putting away her plate after eating, laying down place mat, knowing the continents on the world map! They have generous amounts of play time during the day and upload pictures on an app for us parents to see what are kids are up to during the day.

Most importantly I cannot express our gratitude to this school staying OPEN during the PANDEMIC. The teachers and staff that were willing to work and watch our children during the most uncertain time of our generation really says alot about this school. Thank you Ms. Mary for keeping this school alive!

Location is off of a very Busy Street.

Owner Mary is very rude and condescending to the staff and to other children.

Price of tuition is very high. We went to Tour other schools nearby and the Monthly Tuition was more than 40% with Staff that have been with the school for over 10 years.

Very hard to turn in during the morning drop off.
Overall – 2 star Rating is a More than Kind Rating for this School that is a Glass House – Looks pretty on the outside, inside is very dark, and bathroom is not stocked and always empty of toilet paper.

I don’t recommend this school. Their playground is flanked by apartments that are 2 and 3 story high. Not safe for kids playing in the back.

After leaving this school, I looked them on Google and Not surprise to read the Staff’s Review on Next Door.

Maybe because I’m from the East Coast and I understand the transparent culture, I LOVE owner Ms. Mary. She is honest and authentic. Also, she runs excellent Montessori schools.

South Bay Montessori is her newest school, and I am very grateful for this superb institution. My 2.5 year-old son Avi has been attending for over one year and has learned so many positive behaviors and skills. He always says “no thank you” when declining a request. He sorts his toys. He sits and eats.

The teachers are kind and attentive. The front desk reception is warm and loving. The school is CLEAN and organized. I absolutely love it.
