Their website states that working families get priority for full day care. This is not true. This location prioritizes homeless, NOT working families, as I was told during application review. If you aren’t a scumbag, don’t even bother applying for your child, because they have a years-long waitlist for everyone but scumbags.

In fairness, this is primarily because this whole town is overrun with tweakers and the people who enable them, not because of some intrinsic flaw with this Headstart location, which, from what I understand is pretty rad and well-funded. However, the information provided about their acceptance policies online and in print materials conflicts with what I was told at interview. The truth is ugly, but deceiving possibly desperate applicants per their chances of acceptance is even uglier, ORCCA.

My grandson has attended this learning center for 3 yrs. He has really enjoyed his time there. It is employed with professional kind and caring staff.
They have excellent hygiene values in place.
They have a healthy menu.
They have great toys learning equipment indoors and outdoors.
They also have great safety programs in case of fire or tsunami or other emergencies.
They provide shaparoned school bus service.
There’s so much more!
Seems like a great place. Yes this is for low income families or situational only.
