Programs are nice for some, mine in particular is good but the staff aren’t very helpful, a couple of RA’s love to power trip over people having innocent fun, no fun activities on campus, nowhere to walk to. If you don’t have a car then your basically stuck to paying tons of money for rides and the campus is very depressing, if you come here it’s solely for school and your mental health is most likely going to decline. The most eventful thing you are allowed to do here is stay trapped in your room and play video games. If you’re looking for a pleasant college experience, choose another school. Most people tell me they wish they didn’t come here and on top of that the hours that food is open is very strict, if you miss those hours you’re stuck hungry for a while. If you need to go to the store, you’d have to spend hours walking, and the campus safety line does not pick up in times of need. The chains on the doors are also very weak, providing no real safety. Also, make note that you will get in trouble a lot for doing things within your rights. If you really want to be here, don’t live on campus. Just do the programs. I will agree that some of the instructors are nice, though, so that’s a plus. Weight your pros and cons carefully.
It’s a good school. There is a variety of choices that allows students to have a larger opportunity in what they study. The advisors are great as well as the support staff. MOST of the senior staff members are supportive, as well. I leave that for you to find out.

The organizations give students the feel of college life. I lean more towards PBL and NTHS because not only are they great organizations that can help a person improve their resume but they encourage values I embrace as well such as giving back to the community, leadership, and teamwork.

As far as the student who claims they don’t care about their students or staff? I cannot speak about how the staff is treated but after two life changing events (The death of my father and my near death) the school rallied around me with support and prayers. Some of my advisors even came to visit me and prayed with my family when I was in a coma.

It could improve but it is suitable as it is as well. My son has expressed an interest in attending school there for wielding once he completes high school in a couple of years. If he still is interested in going when the time comes he has the support of his father, his stepfather, and myself.
