Red flags!!! This school is understaffed, unprofessional, and they make up their own policies and procedures. A scheduled tour is impossible, they don’t answer the phones, the voicemail recording had a man talking in the background, and they never return phone calls. Definitely a concern when leaving your little one in their care. So many red flags!!! In traffic to go to a tour due to accidents along the route and called to let the director know she said that she would not be there passed 5:00. My tour was scheduled for 5:00. Ok, so I say well, how long was the tour for? Oh, it depends on how many questions you had. When I set the tour up I was told that I would have to fill out paperwork. Then she says that she would give me until 5:10 and if I wasn’t there she would leave and if I needed to reschedule it’s a $25 deposit. What is the deposit for? What does it go towards? When did they start charging to tour a childcare facility? What if I don’t want my child to attend, what happens to my “deposit?” I’ve never heard of this being the case. The director made this up and is more than likely pocketing the money. Of course I didn’t reschedule, I’m just making you all aware of how this woman is that’s in charge of this childcare facility. I asked for a manager or the owner and she said that she was the one. This may be why it’s understaffed. My first tour was rescheduled due to her recalling that she had an interview at 5:00. She called me back to let me know about the interview So, it was rescheduled by her to 5:30. Well, that time conflicted with my work schedule. Oh and 5:00 when they close is the only time they can tour. You cannot tour when children are there, to see how they are working with the children. More red flags!!! So, I rescheduled for today and couldn’t make it due to accident traffic. Huge concern especially considering average work schedules end at 4pm or 5pm. Working parents beware and find somewhere else. The director really don’t care about the kids or parents. Definitely don’t want to have my child here and can’t reach her, can’t leave a message, and be charged more money due to someone getting into an accident. Run for the hills! The pictures and reviews you see are old! It’s some shady business and practices happening behind the scenes.
My kids have been going to this school/daycare for just over a year now and they love the teachers. The staff and teachers have been great to work with us all along the way and my kids have had nothing bad to say about the teachers. The facility has always been clean when I’ve gone (my husband usually does drop off/pick up so I’m not there all the time) but I’ve heard no complaints about any of that from him. They serve breakfast, lunch and snack (offering great variety) and often do fun themes each week to focus their projects and learning on. They stick to state standards and are well worth checking out, particularly with being so affordable compared to a lot of daycare centers in the area.
