I went for a tour last week, the last week of January 2017. The sign in front of the school still talks about Fall Festival and fall news…. I scheduled the tour and then when I arrived, they were unprepared and the lady that was going to do it made sure we all knew it wasn’t her job. She relayed tons of helpful school gossip and wasted our time talking about things she wished they would change. We weren’t introduced to anyone, in fact ever face we ran into was unhappy and displeased to have people looking around. We passed the principal walking the halls 4 times, no one stopped to introduce us. Not even a wave. Even with our huge Visitor stickers on. We did learn about people that have resigned and all that jazz. No art in the halls, no sign of school pride at all. It was truly disappointing. The schedule isn’t want they say they are doing online, that information hasn’t been updated.
Great school and is improving every year. The teachers are awesome and my classmates are great. There is still room for improvement though. The last 2 years have been a little rough but has improved greatly. I have been going to this school since the beginning and love their fun coriculum for every subject. The school heavily expresses good character and maintains behavior appropriately at all times. There are always fun field trips to help students learn even further. It’s my ninth and final year at SPS and will find it extremely hard to leave the school. I highly recommend this school for any child. Family is everywhere at SPS. Your child will have completely unforgettable moments at this school. Hope you enjoy your time at SPS!
