This school is not credited nationally; therefore when your child graduates, theyll have to go to a community college and later transfer to an actual university. Few of the teachers are qualified to teach. I totally recommend this place for elementary! They use A Beka curriculum, but they use Bob Jones in high school…. they claim to have a no bully policy. Though they mean well, but the most theyve ever done for this policy is send a pamphlet home? Really making a difference, babes. We have teachers telling middle and high schoolers how to start drinking alcohol and not get TOO sick. Principal has called a mom a bad mother for unjustified reasons. He has no qualifications to be the principal. Also the dean of students makes all of the students extremely uncomfortable. They actually fear him. Please…. help you children get a foothold in life. Give them a solid education.
Not very kind staff or teachers. Very rude sometimes. Treated my daughter less then human. Principal withheld her honor because teacher decicided she didn’t deserve it for not listening. Then after she finally received it they put another kids last name on it just to be funny Wow their Christianity needs work. Oh yeah school is not a credited nationally so when your kid graduate they are reduced to a local community college then they can transfer to a university how about getting your monies worth. The principal was rude called me a bad mother because I demanded she receive her honor row that she rightfully deserved then he asked me to leave his office. I had her grades since kindergarten to prove she always have made A&B she left there at 3grade she cont. To make A&B till this day.
Both my children have been in this school since kindergarten and we love it! My kids are both now in high school and we are so happy that we have been able to keep them in SHCA! The teachers are great, the staff is great and my kids have been loved on and are getting a great education. The classes are smaller in size so they get more individual instruction. In today’s world, to get an education while also connecting with Jesus every day is so important to us. My granddaughter is now attending as well (since 6th grade) and she is doing so much better than she was in her last school. Not only academically but socially as well. If you are thinking about putting your children at SHCA, don’t hesitate!
