Id give this school less stars if I could. Don’t get me wrong, its great being able to stay home in the comfort of my own home and work on school at my own pace. However the teachers and staff are not all perfect as the higher ups sell them to be. The special few that the students could have reached out to whenever they needed to rant have been transferred and it won’t be long before the current student support coaches that the students like will be gone too.
The worst part of this school is its rapid decline. They sell you on the false fact that the core staff will do anything to help your child excel in their future. Like I said false, there are students who harass, bully, intimidate and out right assault other students but the principal and all the others turn a blind eye if they have good test scores or like them in general. If your student is self disciplined enough to be able to do their school on their own from home every day then good for you, this is the school for you. But those who have pasts and histories and their troubles then stay away from this school. As a person who has their ups and downs I wish I could take away my past four years here and go to a normal school.

SSAE is the best school ever. I have been attending it for as long as it has been open (7 years). It is truely the most wonderful school you will ever go to. Whether you need to catch up, graduate early, take higher than your grade level courses, or you are simply an ordinary student SSAE will accommodate. You can work at your own pace and the technology is state of the art. They offer dual enrollment allowing students grades 9-12 to earn FREE college credit in high school. The online system they use is used by many colleges in CO. The faculty is amazing and always goes above and beyond what is expected. They are very relatable people and are very approachable. We rarely have bullying problems and everyone is super nice.
If you are on the fence take my word for it and ENROLL IN THIS SCHOOL!

This school was a true life changer for our daughter who was struggling at a traditional school. The anti-bullying program is very strong and the school regularly checks in with parents to see how things are going. Just as important, her learning has thrived! Math concepts she couldn’t get before have come to life through the Aleks program and a great teacher. She is also writing beautifully and understanding and comprehension is so much better in this fun, and funky environment. Her counselor is top notch, gives her hugs and really cares. Our girl has flourished with confidence and is excited to get to school each day. Also, the school has wonderful volunteer opportunities through Care and Share, National Mill Dog Rescue and the local soup kitchen.
