1. Greeting to parent or guardian: the lady seems was not want to support which can be recognised from her voice tone. I am not too sure the name of person i was talking to as no introduction of name that is required as a part of greeting.
2. Lacking of communication and listening skills: she heard only half of the story and she assume herself of understanding whole story. She explained and referred some of enrolment documents which I had been done (as we got our visa). She does not understand what she been been talking I believe.
Again, from this situation if you are not a person in charge, please put down the note and seek for information from your coworker later. Later you will return the call to the guardian.
As a international students, we paid for our school fee and obviously included support services which I could not find in this provider. Furthermore, it is a part of ESOS Standard of providing the support to international students.
As an education provider, I personally believe it will be valuable feedback for provide to go through and give guideline to staff member to improve the student support for international students and guardian who are comes from oversea and as a newcomer to Australia.
