Nice cathedral that is very well preserved. The best part is that it is next to a school and you get to see the children running between the cathedral and the school around the compound.
We cannot recommend SACS more highly to parents contemplating enrolling their children in this outstanding school. The school cares profoundly about each of their students, valuing and recognising their unique and different qualities and abilities.

Thoughtful and considered care, compassion and diligence was at the forefront of all the decisions that were made in relation to our boys’ pastoral and academic care. With unwavering support provided to both our boys, they achieved more than we could have hoped for academically, and have grown into fine young men imbued with all the SACS qualities of respecting diversity and inclusivity; kindness; hard work and perservance.

It was important to us that our boys were not schooled in an exclusive environment, but one were all students belong irrespective of background. Indeed, the sense of community and belonging is one of the most attractive characteristics of the school: and it is across the student body, as well as the parent body. We have all made life long friends, who we cherish.

SACS also provided our boys with amazing extra curricula opportunities that catered for their respective interests and skills, with them participating in: mock trial; Asia Pacific philosophons; leadership roles; debating; a variety of sports; camps; and musicals.

This school is amazing and our two kids are growing up so beautifully as they are encouraged, stretched and supported by a wonderful set of teachers and an amazing school principal.

The teaching is tailored to each student and they are encouraged to grow in areas where they are passionate about.

The compulsory outdoor activities have a positive influence and there are many academic co-curricular choices.

The parent community is very welcoming.

A city-based high rise building isn’t the first thing you think of when sending kids to school – but St Andrew’s Cathedral School is full of joy, laughter and play on the rooftop playground, exceptional music, and a community that is the definition of supportive and inclusive. My children have both attended since Kindergarten, and next year my eldest will continue their high school journey at SACS in 2024. Academically it shines and stands out as a non-selective school. There are extensive opportunities and support available for Gifted and Talented students (this school stands out because it truly understands these children!). And in the high school students equally choose the International Baccalaureate and the traditional HSC. It’s a beacon of exceptional, caring, values-driven coeducation.
The school and teachers are truly amazing, community and parents are close to each other. I haven’t seen teachers as kind and patient as at St Andrew’s elsewhere, every kid is genuinely well looked after and truly cared by the school, from teachers to school principals. I have heard so many positive feedback on St Andrew’s from people around me before sending my kid there, it’s the right decision!
