Reception is better. Although you do have stay on top of your kids education. If you don’t bother then the teachers don’t bother. At least they prepared weekly tasks for the kids.
Year one is a bit meh. I know it’s a predominately white school. But all children should be treated equally. That means greeting all children equally and not ignoring them. Recognising ALL talents. I do find lack of work being given/ pupil progress shared with parents lacking.
Mr Hatch: Honestly an amazing teacher. To hear that you got an OBE is outstanding. You deserve it.
Mrs Roberts: At the time i neglected to see how much you was supporting me throughout my tardiness when it comes to my punctuality but now i thank you for the effort given.
Mrs Rostron: Another teacher who helped me realise that being a civil person is the way to go when it comes to socialising.
Mrs Whittaker: I remember her being an amazing English [or math, forgot] teacher and without her help, i wouldn’t be where i am currently with my vocabulary.
Miss Hirst: Was my form teacher for Year 4 and to this day, I still consider year 4 to be one of my favourite years in primary education because of her.
Mrs Black: A strict teacher who taught me that I need to look my best to preform in said way. Always telling students to tuck their shirts in.
Mrs Greenwood: My English teacher for year 3 I believe. Much respect and i stand by what i said prior with Mrs Whittaker as it is the same comment i would put here.
Miss Trimble: Another teacher i dedicate my upmost respect for in primary education.
Mrs Umar: This teacher helped me throughout my years as i wasn’t the best nor the worst but could always point out what to improve on. Also one of the teachers who helped me with reading. Now i consistently read and i owe my respect to her.
Miss Connor: I didn’t get taught by her however would have been an amazing time if i was to be due to her amazing sense of humour when it comes to teaching.
Mrs Booney: I remember her vaguely as the Head-Eco teacher. Loved my time spent as an ECO member due to it felt like i was doing something important as i didn’t make it as a prefect. So i used ECO to clear some of that sorrow away.
Mr Lawson: Honestly one of my favourite inspirations. The main reason i became so attached to music was because i got taught by one of the best. I thank him so much for what he did. Now i play Piano, Guitar, Drums, Part Violin and do them all to a degree of professionalism. Thanks to him.
Miss Bentham: Another amazing, lovely teacher. Always put a smile on my face to be in the same room as her with her energetic vibe and always happy being. I don’t know if this hints much but she was also the person to give me an award for “the best lindy hop”
To All: Much respect and if i missed anyone, Its rather due to not being taught by them or they are new to me.
Amazing School, Amazing Staff.
