I was lucky enough to attend this school, as did my sister and sister-in-law. We benefited greatly from the very caring environment that the school provided. We were expected to work hard but we were supported the whole way. We all took every opportunity offered to us not only in the classroom, but with the all the other activities offered. I joined several clubs at the time and loved them. The teachers actually took us on trips at the weekends in their own time in a special “Rambling Club” which I have never forgotten. We all found the teachers would back us in our endeavours and efforts to further education in every way they could. I was even helped to find a wonderful career with the help of one teacher in particular. The school was beautifully cared for and I have recommended it to many of my friends for their daughters. I still feel a great sense of pride at having been a Convent girl. If you want a caring school which will give your daughter every opportunity and offers wonderful facilities, then this the school for you.
This school is a very welcoming and warm place. Most of the teachers are really great and make sure you feel included in everything. The teachers can be a little strict but overall the school is a great place filled with great opportunities and a variety of extracurricular activities that are not found in any other school. My form tutor, Dr Patel is very welcoming and I feel as if I could go to her for anything.
As I’m currently working abroad my time at the school as teacher was amazing. I loved working with the students and I missed them already. We have an amazing friendly staff which I’m also keeping in touch with. The school has also given me an opportunity to complete my masters for school leadership. Who knows if I come back my role would be an SLT. Thank you for pushing and motivating me to work in this sector
My daughter is currently attending this school and I am very glad that she is having the opportunity to do so. It is a wonderful school and has high expectations for their children, which is amazing. My daughter comes home everyday , wanting to go back as soon as possible. The teachers are very helpful when needed but also allows you to be self-reliant. Homework is very well distributed during the week. Lessons are very well prepared and are challenging which allows the students to think. Also, the school gives the children a variety of choices for gcse’s, which is very important due to the children not having a small variety of options. In addition, school trips are well organised and overall very educational. Students are rewarded for good actions and deeds as well as punished. One thing my daughter loves is sports day, because the whole school is able to unite and support each other, just to make things even better the teachers also participate in the relay race, so students are able to cheer for their teachers. I absolutely recommend this school to all girls, they will exceed your expectations. Therefore your daughter will excel and become a powerful leader just as my daughter and many other girls in the school.
