My husband and I both attended public school and we had not even thought about sending our son to a private school. It just so happened that after we bought our house we realized that our “home” school was 10 miles away. I couldn’t see myself putting my son on a bus at such a young age nor could I see myself driving back and forth every day to get him to school. Our realtor had sent her children to St Dominic and she had nothing but good things to say about it. Our son ended up attending St Dominic from the time he was 4 all the way through the 6th grade. We couldn’t have asked for better staff or teachers. I truly feel like it was such a blessing to be able to send him there. The school has very high standards and are taught more than just academics. They learn to value others and to treat each other with respect and love. My son is now in middle school and his transition was an easy one for him. He is excelling in all subjects and I believe we owe it to the education he received at St. Dominic School. The tuition is half of what it would have cost if we had sent him to a private school in Texas. The class sizes are small so there is more attention paid to each student. If you are considering a Catholic school I highly reccomend St Dominic School.
