St Edmund’s school has proved to be a school of very high level in every aspect. Aiming great results by high academic demands and expectation from students, but on the other hand also respecting them as a person and being prompt to hear and respond adequately to their needs. Congratulations to the whole school, especially to headteacher Mr Graham and to Mrs Feliks-Matthews, who are delivering their job on such a high level, professionally and humanly comprehending and combining education and students well being so well.
Academically a very good school. However, they have literally no understanding of mental health issues whatsoever. Managed to completely alienate my children. Suicide issues overlooked, kids punished for non attendance even when it clearly was an issue. No measures taken to ensure the kids still received an education. Request for work to be sent home denied. Mental health lead with no knowledge about mental health and complete failure to understand our situation. Actually made their mental health deteriorate further. My kids were two of their brightest stars at one time, but once they could no longer hold them up as a shining example to their peers they literally turned their backs on them. No child left behind? I disagree.
Fantastic school, really brilliantly pastorally as well as academically. Couldn’t praise it high enough. Recommend everyone to convert to Catholicism to get in! Ok maybe that’s too far. But utterly brilliant.
A very good school focused on helping all students reach the best of their ability. Everyone is treated equally and with great respect which is reflected through students enjoying their time at St Edmunds.
Do not send your child here, bullying and harassment runs rampant, deterioration is ignored and mental health is worsened (to the brink of suicide in some cases), do not send them here.
