This school is amazing. The teachers, principal, staff, students, and parent community are genuinely caring, passionate, and focused on providing an exceptional education for the children. The focus on academic excellence is fantastic but it is the holistic approach to education that makes this place amazing. The school community is diverse and welcoming. The school principal and vice principal are accessible. know all of the children and families, and provide phenomenal leadership. There are so many wonderful things to say about this small school but to sum it up, this is a great community of educators, families, and friends providing an enriching environment for its students. The focus on science, technology, Spanish, and social justice provide the fundamentals that have really helped my children develop a love and passion for learning.
Excellent choice for K-8! Spanish daily, cooking class, PE, endless after school programs, morning care, after school care, sports, music, community environment, fundraising, you name it St. Finn Barr has it! Looking for a small, diverse, welcoming school for your child check them out! Your sure to be welcomed with a smile from anyone on campus.
I hated this school. Many of the middle school teachers were bad at teaching. If youre child is cold in the classroom, you cant wear a jacket unless you wear the completely uncomfortable school sweater. If you want to use the bathroom the teachers tend to say no. Overall I did not enjoy the teachers and certain rules at this school.
