This school is beyond fantastic. If you want a great example, here’s one: Our kids were recently in a pretty horrific car accident. All three were hospitalized — two in ICU for a week with significant injuries. During their hospitalization, the principal, two priests, director of development, a bunch of the administration, nearly all of their teachers visited them in the hospital. All the students in their grades made beautiful and touching get-well cards. The parents rallied and bought us dinner for weeks. As they were recovering, the school has bent over backwards to accommodate their injuries and all the time they missed during the school year. I can’t say enough about how well we’ve been taken care of by the whole St. Gregory community. The event proved to me without a doubt that the tuition costs are WELL worth every single cent. I am so thankful we had them enrolled at St. Gregory and couldn’t imagine them anywhere else.

My husband and I grew up going to public schools. We wondered how our elementary or middle schools would have reacted had we been victims of a similar accident. We doubt any of the teachers or administration would have known. Our parents would have called the office, gotten excusals and that would have been it.

St Gregory the Great Catholic School in Plantation Fl is an excellent school if your looking for a place where your kids will learn their faith, good values and respect, whilst achieving their academics. I have 3 children attend at Gregory and I have such a appreciation for all they have done to prepare them for life and high school. Currently i have my oldest in college and my middle one in St Thomas, my baby is in 7th grade. What’s highly recognized is how well they prepare them for High school, i have heard more than once, that the teachers at St Thomas can spot a St Gregory student, nice compliments always! My overall experience is a 5 star! I am grateful to all the teachers and staff they work hard and they do their best in this ever changing world, I honestly don’t think we could have ask for more. What the school needs is the parents to be supportive as much as they can, knowing that as a private School. they do depend on us to give some of our time and participate with fundraisers, there is no finance coming from other sources for necessary items needed for our kids to learn more. Thank you St Gregory the Great for being a no nonsense school.
This year was my last year as a Saint Gregory parent, it was bittersweet to say the least. After 16 years of being part of the SGS family and after 3 of my kids graduated there it was very hard to leave the school. I have had countless wonderful experiences. As a parent I always felt that the SGS staff did everything possible to make sure that my kids received an outstanding education in a safe, loving, Christian environment. My kids remember many of their teachers with love and respect and refer to them often. In my time of need Mrs. Canino, the Principal, helped me and my family with utmost care and compassion, I have a lot of respect for her, it is not easy being responsible for the staff and the students in today’s world where you put your life at risk for doing so.
I am a proud parent of SGS graduates, they all attended . Thank you to all the staff for all you do for the kids! Keep up the great work and God bless each and everyone of you.
