I was Bullied by the teachers for having emotional needs and mental health issues and was told to “man up”, I couldn’t really speak to anyone about it in fear of being dismissed. There were a few instances in where I saw A child with higher needs being verbally bullied and spoken to like a child. There was another situation where a child was being bullied and the bully didn’t get punished.

0/5 I would never recommend this school to a special needs child.

During my time as a student, I was reprimanded for being open about my identity. Despite my disability, I was not provided with a laptop like I should have for GCSE tests, leaving me unable to share my academic work accurately. My handwriting was deemed unacceptable, though it was the result of my condition. I witnessed concerning intimidation tactics, including an instance where a teacher angrily confronted a student by loudly slamming a laptop and pointing with a face of rage till the student left who ran away clearly afraid. The reason was the student was looking at the teacher’s computer use during lunch – an inappropriate display of aggression towards a child especially non verbal. Students requiring wheelchairs faced public humiliation, as they were left unattended in hallways when being disciplined. The frequent use of isolation rooms has now left me with anxiety when alone or separated from others. While some teachers showed care, their presence could not redeem an environment of systemic harm. When I asked for help with self harm I was told I’m autistic and that’s how it works, yet when I asked for help to get a fresher diagnosis (we had paperwork issues) I “don’t quite fit autism” (because it was autism and adhd) so I’m autistic when it’s convenient and not when inconvenient? Got you loud and clear.
It is a first class school
