this school was so good as you would have to fight your way through the corridor and accident killing some young youths, the corridors were so tight as a only 2 pupils would fit in it. teachers were also kindly racist lovely school would go there again to see the kids
Only there for one (or two) terms . We were the very first intake when the school opened in January 1964.
We were transferred from St Michael’s RC Senior School ( next door to St Michael’s Church)
The school building is still standing well over 50 years after its closure as a school ) I have fond memories of SJF. as it was a mixed school, and that was a real novelty to us St Michael’s boys.
Must see if they have school re unions there, it would be great to see anyone from 1964/5/6 era.
Full of bullies and Teachers are not interested in sorting it out. Awful, awful school. Will find a new school for my step daughter, as girls getting bullied (physically) by boys is not a cause for concern.
