Terrible experience at this school. If your student didn’t attend private school before this one, teachers are nothing but helpless to them even when they ask for the help, you’ll need private tutors if you want your student to do well. Teachers will pick on your student if for some reason they are not on their sweet side, they can be very unchristian, unprofessional and unethical, this school can not possibly have good teachers except maybe a hand full, because they fire and hire teachers every 3 to 6 months even teachers that have been fired from other private schools. If a teachers is picking on your student and you bring it up to the attention of the administration, you’ll be ignored and your child will be the one punished in the end, this school no matter how horrible and unprofessional a teachers behavior is, they will stand by their terrible faculty. The morality among the students at sj23 is also very questionable and highly disappointing for a catholic christian school. It is my moral obligation to share our family’s experience with sj23.
I graduated high school from St. John XXIII in 2015. I loved my experience at the school. The teachers were caring and helpful and I enjoyed the opportunity to play multiple sports. My biggest hesitation was that I am not Catholic but Baptist – all they ask is that you’re respectful of their practices and teachings which wasn’t a problem because I was choosing to go to school there. I went on to college and have since graduated and was very well prepared for it! If I had to go back and choose a high school again I’d choose Saint John XXIII.
St. John’s High School is amazing!!! The best teachers ever! If you ask my Son what was the best thing he loved about the school, he will always say “my teachers” This school was nothing but professional, loving and very caring. Best fit for my son. Everyday is a great day to be a Lion!!! Wear the red proudly!
