Today I went to see the school nativity play. My brothers daughter is a pupil in this school. I must say, I was struck at how kind, caring and compassionate the staff seem to be. The headmaster Mr Coldwell came across as such a warm, gentle, supportive and kind person. St the end of the play, he came to the front and spent a good 4 minutes praising all the kids. It wasn’t just a token gesture either. It appeared to be his priority to make each one of these young children feel valued & loved. Really ace guy. Probably one of the most sincere teaching professionals I have ever Sen at work. I have no idea who this guy is but you can see, his kindness filters down throughout all the staff. One poor little boy, who got a bit overwhelmed & started crying, was quietly and gently picked up by a teacher and held close to the lady, kind of hugging him while the parents got up and they all went to the back. But this lady teacher seemed very comfortable in displaying this kindness. The poor little boy was fine after that. Not sure if he had ADHD or Autism or something but the teacher was amazing. So refreshing to see this gentle compassion for one of their pupils. If I had kids, I would definitely send them to this school. Keep up the good work guys.
