I am a parishioner since 1998 and this is the first time I am disappointed in a decision made by the pastor who by far is my favorite pastor .

I am disappointed in Saint Leo for cancelling the weekly evening Mass for the Lenten season 2014. I am one of the many parishioners who work in DC and have to leave at 6.30 every morning hence am unable to attend the 6.15am mass. I always looked forward and enjoyed the evening mass and receiving the sacrament of holy communion during Lent.

I am sure the pastor has his reasons for cancelling the evening mass during Lent but by doing so, he is loosing out on a catholic who is trying to increase her faith during the most sacred season of the catholic church.

thanks

Janet
