One of the best schools in the Northern Emirates I have ever come across. The teachers and staff go out of their way to assist students in their academic growth and shape them into better people. Hats off to the entire faculty for always caring for their students. I would recommend that anyone relocating from other emirates give it a try and take a tour of the school. Keep up the good work, and thank you for always instilling good values in our children.

P.S. This is my personal review, as I am a parent and am very happy with what St. Mary’s has to offer.

I am one of the former students of this school, and I must say it is the worst I have attended in a long time. Firstly, the teachers speak Hindi, and I could not understand their accents. Secondly, the classroom had a foul odor, which made me feel sick. The school is disorganized. The PE teacher would waste so much time setting up the equipment that we would not have time to play. Furthermore, some teachers are disrespectful and cannot teach effectively. One teacher, in particular, was so disrespectful that it was difficult to believe he was responsible for managing student behavior. If you want a good future, do not come here. Walter White gave a bad review for a reason; if Walter White says it’s bad, then it is bad – simple equation.
Great school!
My child has been improving academically and in many other areas. Teachers hold frequent meetings and stay in touch regarding academics or any other matters.
I am an ex-student at this school, and I will tell you this school destroyed my future in many ways. Because of the bad influence of the people here, I started smoking, and I have just left the asylum. It has been a chaotic experience. They only teach when there are evaluators coming; other than that, it is like a fish market. Also, the number of fights in this school is crazy. I honestly don’t know what the head of behavior is doing here. I honestly think I would do a better job. Also, most of the teachers here have no experience, especially the new ones, like I don’t even understand anything they say. Also, I would recommend that the school provide perfumes. I can’t believe I almost did my IGCSEs here.
Thank you, and don’t put your kid here.
This school is not recommended. Despite the impressive building and initial friendly demeanor, the quality of education does not meet expectations. The promised Native English-speaking teachers are predominantly Asian and Egyptian, with varying degrees of English proficiency. Their cultural perspectives may also differ from the anticipated British model. The high fees are incongruent with the subpar education provided, which is comparable to non-British schools in the city.

Teacher turnover is high, and some exhibit unprofessional behavior, including physical discipline, which is prohibited by the UAE Ministry of Education. The building’s aesthetics are overshadowed by its poor design and inadequate management.

After three years, my children’s educational development has been negatively impacted, leading to a dislike for school.

SMR is a school that provides a supportive and familial environment. Teachers ensure that students receive personalized attention and provide feedback to parents, fostering a collaborative approach to student growth.
It is an excellent school; my kids have improved significantly and are now speaking English.
