My experience at St. Mary Catholic High School has been exceptional. The teachers genuinely invest in my children’s education and growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of each student. Small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled my children to gain confidence in their learning abilities.

The administration is open-minded and thinks outside the box to make St. Mary Catholic High School a successful educational experience for students. St. Mary Catholic High School is committed to the whole child. They teach value lessons, communication skills, and leadership skills.

This school is a gem! They excel in enhancing students’ skills through personalized attention and a focus on individual talents. Inclusive and diverse, the school also offers plenty of opportunities for students to participate in. With prime facilities and a dedicated faculty, they ensure that students advance in every sector, from academics to the arts. They have an excellent teaching staff who strive to provide the best knowledge in an interactive method. Highly recommend this school!

I studied at St. Mary’s from kindergarten to 10th grade. It’s a wonderful institution that aids in the overall development of students. However, the school needs serious improvements as there are no opportunities given to students for skill improvement.

When I was in school until 8th grade, the management was student-friendly and warm, but after the shift, it’s no longer the same. Strict education is a must, but students’ overall mental, physical, and emotional well-being matters more. The school still operates on conservative ideas and provides no scope for improvement. The only way St. Mary’s could be what it was before is by changing its primitive way of management and broadening its views by being open-minded.

St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Fujairah has had an exceptional year, marked by notable achievements in both academics and extracurricular activities. The school hosted “Inventopia,” a science exhibition graced by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, emphasizing innovation and sustainability. The introduction of the school band provided a platform for students to showcase their musical talents. In a bid to actively engage in the global effort to combat climate change, 49 students embarked on a transformative journey to the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) hosted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government.

The CBSE’s STREAMFARE Awards, held on January 31, 2024, celebrated the exceptional coding talents of students in grades 3 to 9. These young minds showcased their innovative coding programs using Micro:bit and Python. “St. Mary’s Got Talent” showcased the diverse talents within the school community. Principal Fr. Dr. Suresh Kumar inaugurated the first season of the SGT event, emphasizing the school’s dedication to nurturing gifted students. St. Mary’s Catholic High School awarded over 1,500 certificates to students for their outstanding achievements, maintaining its reputation for excellence and motivating students to excel further. Through initiatives like Inventopia and “St. Mary’s Got Talent,” St. Mary’s Catholic High School continues to inspire and prepare students for a successful and responsible future.

If you’re thinking of sending your child to this school, PLEASE DON’T. Eminence would be a much better option. With this school’s obsession with paying fees on time, you would think they would provide proper facilities for the students. They don’t. There is never any hand wash or tissues in the bathrooms. They hide the tissues because they believe students shouldn’t use them to dry their hands. I have never even seen toilet paper in the individual bathroom stalls. They want you to pay fees, but they won’t provide necessary hygienic equipment for the students. Do you want your children to attend a school so stingy that it doesn’t even provide tissues?

The teachers here are also extremely biased toward boys. As a girl, you are not even allowed on the main campus during break time. Girls have to stay in an extremely tiny, dirty, and unkempt area behind the school. This is all to ensure boys and girls don’t interact. If you send your daughter to this school, she will 100% be shamed for everything she does. Nose piercing? Judgment. Colored hair? Judgment. Wearing perfectly normal and modest clothing that everyone except the teachers finds acceptable? Judgment.

There are no clubs, teams, extracurriculars, or proper sports programs. Any club or activity they start is canceled as soon as the weather gets bad or forgotten after a vacation or exam.

If you want your child to be denied basic hygiene products, have no opportunities for extracurricular activities, and be shamed for everything by judgmental teachers, this is the perfect school for you!

St. Mary’s is truly exceptional. The teachers go above and beyond to help the students, and there has always been a strong focus on academics, enabling students to excel. There is a wonderful sense of community that helped me form lasting friendships with my classmates. Overall, I enjoyed my school years at St. Mary’s and would highly recommend it.
