Wonderful School with a great community feel

Fabulous support from the teaching faculty and office staff.

Excellent improvements made to the facility over the last few years.
In our experience the way the school handled remote learning during lock downs was exceptional.

Office staff are friendly, informative and helpful.

The allowance for female students to wear trousers instead of tunics during the winter shows progression and we appreciate it.

The after school pick up system is above average. It surpasses any system at neighbouring schools.

We are very happy with St Michael’s

Throughout 2017 and 2018, while a student at St Michaels Primary School Blacktown South, our daughter aged 8 and 9 years at the time, was subjected to significant child on child abuse by 4 fellow students, 3 female and one male. This abuse took place over approximately 18 months, taking place in the toilets and at times, in the classroom with teachers present in the classroom. One of the perpetrators may have been abusing her younger sister. If anyone has any knowledge of this abuse, or similar abuse occurring at this school or witnessed it as a student at the school, could you please contact the Police as we have reported it.
I would give this school 0 if I could. I have two brothers and myself(female) who attended this school over a period of 10 years. The first principal was amazing (I started in 2014) once he left the school stated to go off the rails once the current principal arrived. My oldest brother was slapped across the face multiple times and was whitenesses by many students. And theses incidents were swept under the carpet. I was bullied from year 4 to year 6 and the teachers did nothing except blame me for what was going on. My little brother was going through a lot and got into a fight as a result of this. My little brother had soccer with the school the next day and the other boy was told he was missing out on a lunch ( no big deal) and my little brother missed out on a match only just to find out the next day that everyone had to miss out on a game. Not telling him this is technically emotionally damaging him.
The Teachers in this School pour their heart and soul into creating a Safe and Caring learning environment for their Students. In the Time I’ve spent at this school I have seen nothing but passionate Staff with one goal in mind and that goal is to provide a quality education to all those who want one.
