Small and closely knit school with community. Feel blessed to send our child there. There is a lot of support from the teachers, school staff team and external professional that they have to support all the kids with special needs and attention.

The school facility is getting updated and will be a strong team with new facility school in no time. We did school tour prior to enrolling and our decision could not be better.

Do ask for a school tour and you will see and experience it for yourself.

Our sons go to St Monica’s Primary in Footscray. We love the school being small, has a tight knit community feel, and some very dedicated educators that have supported our family. The school/ parent engagement group has organised lots of activities for us to connect with other families. It is a beautiful supportive school community that we feel welcomed and belong.
This school is so boring now im so happy that i left when i could because these new staff do not know how to make your primary school experience positive. When i was still at the school my year 6 teacher was one of the meanest people alive. She had called my parents twice for things that are barely even superficial. This shows that teachers here do not know how to deal with students themselves but instead having to rely on their parents to lecture them. Dont waste your money on this school, find another primary school to look into because if you care about your childrens learning and mental health, you would avoid this place at all costs. Shoutout to all the old teachers that left miss u guys sm wish i could meet up wit u guys again.
over the past 5 years there has been a major staff change, these teachers do not care for the students mental health and unlike other schools, they do not bother do celebrate their diversity and the closest thing to it is hiring a bunch of dancers for Saint Patrick’s day where almost none of the students enjoy. On the side of education, a year 6 teacher last year did not help a bit with a struggling student and did not even bother to do their job. This school and especially the staff need to make a big change with approaching the environment and students differently.
Fantastic little primary school in Footscray. Small class sizes, very engaged staff, a diverse range of subjects taught, and a friendly wider school community. Highly recommend.
